Additionally, all of our 8×6 trailers come with extra supports on the chassis, which makes our trailers exceptionally durable and safe.
Mechanical Disc Brakes vs Hydraulic Brakes. Why do we use mechanical disc brakes?
- Mechanical disc brakes are considered to be more reliable and simpler to maintain than hydraulic brakes.
- They don’t require a complex hydraulic system because they use a cable to trigger the brake pads.
- The braking intensity can also be easily adjusted.
Benefits of Dual Axle Over Single Axle Trailers
Single axle trailers just have one axle, while tandem trailers have two axles closely spaced apart.
- Increased Load Capacity: Dual axle trailers can carry heavier loads.
- Improved Stability: They offer better stability and less sway.
- Better Weight Distribution: Reduces stress on each axle and tyre.
- Enhanced Safety: In case of a tyre failure, the other tyres can support the load.
- Smoother Ride: Generally provides a smoother towing experience.
The choice between a tandem or single axle trailer depends on the intended use and the load to be carried.
