The 8×5 trailer size in cm is approximately 240 in length and 153 in width, with your choice of box depth at 30 or 42.5 cm. This trailer size is extremely popular in Australia and elsewhere due to its versatility. It offers enough space for transporting furniture, tools, building materials, and mowers. While still being compact enough for easy towing and storage.

8×5 Single Axle Trailer Features:

This is an 8×5 single axle braked trailer, giving you legal compliance for heavier loads. It comes with a 960kg weight capacity, making it perfect for serious hauling without stepping up to a tandem axle.

One of the most important features of a trailer is its suspension springs! So we use eye to eye leaf springs instead of basic slipper springs. This suspension design improves ride comfort, increases load stability, and reduces wear and tear on the trailer chassis.

Additionally, compared to other single axle trailers in the market, this 8×5 single axle trailer is superior! Since it comes fitted with a longer 1.6m drawbar, built from heavy duty 100 x 50 x 3mm RHS steel. This adds strength, improves towing stability, and allows for easier manoeuvrability when reversing.

And of course, this 8×5 single axle trailer is hot dip galvanised in molten zinc, providing excellent protection against rust. It’s ready for all weather and all work conditions, without the need for constant maintenance and repair.
